CAROL GOMILLION
EDINBURG - Carol Gomillion, 84, died Friday, June 11, 2021, at McAllen Heart Hospital. She loved bowling with her friends, spending time with family, and her two fur babies Sissy and Patsy. She was the rock, strength, and heart of the family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Wille Mae O'dell.
Mrs. Gomillion is survived by her husband, Joel Gomillion of Edinburg; four children, Robert Edward (Anita) Ingle of San Marcos, Carolyn Laverne (Steve) Ferguson of McAllen, Laurie Marie (Geronimo) Arteaga of Edinburg, Edward Lee (Yvonne) Sanders of San Benito; seven grandchildren; Jerry Arteaga, Josie Jasso, Justin Arteaga, Scott McGuffin, Krystal Kay McGuffin, Edward Sanders Jr., and Samantha Sanders; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Coward of Lipan, TX, Laurie Lee of Arlington, TX, and Gail Berend of Pilot Point, TX.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Memorial Service Friday, June 18, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
