GEORGE F. GONGORA SAN JUAN - George F. Gongora, 82, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his wife, Delia C. Gongora. George is survived by his three sons, Rolando (Mary) Gongora, Robert (Idalia) Gongora, Jaime (Laura) Gongora; three daughters, Norma (Rene) Farias, Cynthia Gongora, Myrna Gongora; 14 grandchildren; three Great-Grandchildren; a brother, Francisco Gongora; two sisters, Esther Gil and Maria Saenz. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, April 21, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
