Balbina G. Gonzales

Balbina G. Gonzales, 95, peacefully passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
She was devoted and guided by her faith as she practiced this everyday by expressing love to all around her. Through her faith and family, she gained the strength to overcome and survive adverse life events. Balbina was known as a loving, compassionate, strong, and committed mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her wisdom, kindness and home cooked meals will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Gomez and Juana Lopez Gomez; grandson, Orlando Gonzales; a brother, Alfredo Gomez; and daughter-in-law, Margarita Gonzales.
Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her four children, Jose De Jesus Gonzales, Alicia G. (Ramon) Torres, Roberto (Cynthia) Gonzales, Salvador (Olga) Gonzales; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ruben Gomez; aunt, Donaciana G. Villiano; and two nephews, Peter and Ricardo Gomez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, July 25, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish is San Juan. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
