CIPRIANO “CIPPY” GONZALES
EDINBURG – Cipriano “Cippy” Gonzalez, 61, died Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Raymondville, Mr. Gonzales had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Cipriano was a loving husband, father, grandfather, dedicated educator and most importantly, a God fearing man.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Merced and Eloisa Gonzales; and three siblings, Blanca Flores, Pedro Silva, Celia Abrego.
Cipriano is survived by his wife, Thelma Patricia Pulido of Edinburg; four children, Angela Gonzales (Timothy) Huerta, Irene Gonzales (Albert) Perez, both of Raymondville, Veronica Garza (Edgar) Escobedo of McAllen, Sandra Pena of Edinburg; a sister, Mercedes Gonzales of San Antonio; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
