Arnaldo Gonzalez, 72, went home to our Lord Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Gonzalez was born and lived in Edinburg all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin and Ramona Gonzalez; his son Jose A. Gonzalez; three siblings, Joaquin Gonzalez Jr., America Escamilla and Gonzalo Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his son, Arnaldo (Anna) Gonzalez; two grandchildren, Mia A. Gonzalez, Miranda L. Gonzalez, all of Edinburg; a sister, Maria Yolanda Ramos of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will follow at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Delia Ozuna, Luis Briales Sr. and Luis Briales Jr., for being very special people in his life.
Military honors will be conducted by VFW post 7473 of Elsa.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
