ARTURO J. GONZALEZ EDINBURG - Arturo J. Gonzalez, 58, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his residence in Edinburg. Mr. Gonzalez had lived in Edinburg for 26 years. He was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Faysville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guillermo and Aurora Gonzalez. Arturo is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Maria Del Pilar Gonzalez; six children, Guillermo (Yvonne) Gonzalez, Norbella (Adan) De Los Santos, Dennise (Alex) Miller, Arturo J. Gonzalez, Jr., Alfredo Antonio Gonzalez, Mariano Villa; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, April 11, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at a later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
