SAN JUAN - Carlota Gonzalez, 64, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at her residence in San Juan.
Born in Ebano, S.L.P., Mexico, Mrs. Gonzalez was formerly of Pharr and had lived in San Juan for the past two years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Hermila Gonzalez; and a sister, Maria De Jesus Gonzalez.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Rolando Lopez) Garcia; three grandchildren, Jaklyn V. Ramos, John Eric Ramos and Jakob I. Ramos, all of San Juan; a brother, Aristeo Gonzalez of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico; two sisters, Felipa Cortez of Pharr and Demetria Escalante of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico.
A rosary was held Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., today, July 2, 2009 at Parroquia Francisca Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
