CYNTHIA CANTU GONZALEZ EDINBURG - Cynthia Cantu Gonzalez, 51, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Edinburg. Our mom was an amazing woman, Beautiful inside and out. She taught us to be strong and to treat people with the upmost respect. In her life she not only impacted her children but the lives of so many others. She also grew a love for dance, raised four Beautiful children (Carlos Xavier Gonzalez, Eduardo Eugene Gonzalez, Amanda Christine Gonzalez, Javier Joaquin Gonzalez). Beloved daughter, Beloved sister, Beloved aunt, Beloved friend and to all that had the privilege of knowing her. The work our mother did on this earth will never be forgotten. We will always love you mom and you will always be with us in our hearts! Love, Carlos, Amanda, Eddie, Xavi! Thank you for always being a wonderful mother to us! A rosary was held Friday, December 21, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, December 22, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
