DORA M. GONZALEZ PHARR — Dora M. Gonzalez, 80, went home to our Lord, Friday, June 19, 2015 Dora was a loving and caring mother who dedicated her life to her husband and family. She loved flowers, especially roses. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her sons, Jesus Gonzalez Jr. and David Gonzalez; her parents, Francisco and Orfelinda Magallan. Dora is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jesus Gonzalez, of Pharr; nine children, Minerva Gonzalez, of Idaho, Silvia Cazares, Norma Linda Gonzalez, both of Alamo, Gilberto Gonzalez, Joey Gonzalez, both of San Antonio, Irma Velasquez, of San Juan, Diana Leal, Noemi Moya, both of Pharr, and Leticia Barrera, of Wisconsin; 33 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Saturday, June 20, 2015, and Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
