Eden Gonzalez, 71, entered eternal rest Saturday, August 13, 2022, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Jiliapan, Hidalgo, she had lived in Edinburg since 1999.
Eden is survived by her husband, Cirilo Chavez Reyes; eight children, Maria (Juan) Salinas, Amy Chavez, Alba (Francisco Guerrero) Chavez, Gamaliel (Olga) Chavez, Gaudencio (Amanda) Chavez, Ery Chavez, Liliana (Cesar) Castillo, Isaac (Michelle) Chavez; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three siblings, Aurora Gonzalez Rezendiz, Maria de Lourdes Gonzalez; and Perfecto Gonzalez Rezendiz.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
As per the family's request only family members and close family friends.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
