FELIPA GONZALEZ EDINBURG — Felipa Gonzalez, 92, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at her residence in Edinburg. Ms. Gonzalez was born in Rio Hondo and had lived in Edinburg since 1998. She is preceded in death by her husband, Valentin Gonzalez; a son, Saul Gonzalez; and a daughter, Rosa Martinez. Ms. Gonzalez is survived by five children, Lazaro Gonzalez, Felix Gonzalez, Juana Borrego, Blanca Rodriguez, Abel Gonzalez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and three siblings. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. talk Monday, March 23, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
