FRANCISCO “PANCHO” GONZALEZ
PHARR – Francisco “Pancho” Gonzalez, 74, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at his residence in Pharr.
Born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, he had lived in Pharr for 65 years and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. He worked for Butch’s Oil Field in Edinburg for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Manuela Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 52 years, Belia Gonzalez of Pharr; six children, Frank (Carmen) Gonzalez of Mission, Criselda (Steve) Mayo of Pleasanton, Anna Barbosa, Patricia (Flavio) Cardoza, both of Pharr, Fred (Yvette) Gonzalez, Kassandra (Carlos) Ramos, both of San Juan; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Maria H. Gonzalez of Pharr; and a brother, Victor Gonzalez of Reynosa.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 20, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
