HERMINIA GONZALEZ PHARR — Herminia Gonzalez, 57, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at her residence in Pharr. She had lived there most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Gonzalez Jr.; a son, Manuel Gonzalez III; her father, Octavio Flores; and and a brother, Pedro Flores. Ms. Herminia is survived by a son, Rudy (Elizabeth) Gonzalez of Pharr; a daughter, Brenda (Jose) Reyna of San Juan; six grandchildren; mother, Amelia Flores of Pharr; two brothers, Max Flores and Isaac Flores, both of San Juan; four sisters, Criselda (Joe) Castillo of Pharr, Irasema (Juan) Oliva of Alamo, Orfelinda (Alfonso) Lopez of Pharr and Maricela (Eloy) Perales of Alamo. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 19, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at St. Margaret Marry Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
