Jose G. Gonzalez

JOSE G. GONZALEZ ALAMO – Jose G. Gonzalez, 87, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Las Palmas Healthcare Center in McAllen. Born in Mission, Mr. Gonzalez had lived in Alamo most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Mario Gonzalez, Frank Gonzalez and Israel Gonzalez; and a sister, Maria Magdalena Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by a sister, Carmen Garcia, of Yuma, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. A rosary was held Monday, November 11, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, November 12, 2013, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
