MARCOS GONZALEZ
ALAMO - Marcos Gonzalez, 75, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at his residence in Alamo.
Mr. Gonzalez was born in Alamo and lived there all his life.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Marisela Gonzalez; parents, George and Maria Santos Gonzalez; and a sister, Herminia Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife Maria Luisa Gonzalez, of Alamo; two daughters, Marcela (Ruben) Garza, of San Juan, Monica (Johnny) Lopez, of San Antonio,Texas; two grandchildren; three brothers, Lolo (Goya) Gonzalez, of Edinburg, Juan (Elva) Gonzalez, Javier (Carmela) Gonzalez, all of Corpus Christi, Texas; three sisters, Santos (Jose) Cruz, of Alamo, Gregoria Sanchez, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Modesta Sanchez, of California; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, August 25, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
