MARIA "LUPE" GONZALEZ-NAVARRO
PHARR - Maria "Lupe" Gonzalez-Navarro, 64, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Mission.
Mrs. Navarro was born in Pharr and had lived there all of her life. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by a grandson, Eloy Garcia, Jr.; a sister, Gloria Mauricio; and her parents, Francisco and Dominga Gonzalez.
Mrs. Navarro is survived by three daughters, Maria Guadalupe (Roberto) Ramirez of San Juan, Leticia (Carlos) Garcia of Edinburg, Gina Navarro of Pharr; a son, Trinidad (Liana) Gonzalez of Mission; four grandchildren; six sisters, Olivia Longoria, Maria Francisca Salinas, Juanita Perez, Yolanda Castillo, Maria Fernanda Gonzalez, Angelita Carillo; and two brothers, Manuel Gonzalez and Benito Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, July 6, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Manuel Gonzalez, Carlos Garcia, Roberto Ramirez, Domingo Perez, Jorge Osuna and Ronnie Bravo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
