NOE GONZALEZ

ALAMO/EDINBURG - Noe Gonzalez, 47, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 in La Villa from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Edinburg, Mr. Gonzalez was formerly of Pharr and had lived in Alamo for 13 years. He was employed by Hidalgo County Drainage District, Precinct 1, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.

Noe was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He devoted his life to his family and in his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by a brother, David Gonzalez; and his mother-in-law, Teresa Martinez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Beatrice M. Gonzalez; four children, Ada Jeanette (Alex) Hernandez, Laura (Luis Romo, Jr.) Gonzalez, Daniel L. Gonzalez, Iris V. Gonzalez, all of Alamo; four grandchildren, David A. Romo, Makaela A. Romo, Alexander Daniel Hernandez, Jr., Eraul Hernandez; his parents, Juana and Pedro Gonzalez, of Edinburg; a brother, Alfredo Gonzalez, of Pharr; two sisters, Martha Gonzalez, Janie Gonzalez, both of Edinburg; and his father-in-law, Manuel Martinez, of Pharr.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, November 30, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Pallbearers will be Daniel L. Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, Alex Hernandez, Luis Romo Jr., Benito Gonzalez, Alfredo L. Gonzalez, Julio Galvan and Ramiro Resendez.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
