EDINBURG – Porfiria L. Gonzalez, 87, died Saturday, December 10, 2016.
Born in Brady, Texas, she had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcos Gonzalez.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by three children, Ruben (Leticia) Gonzalez, Mary Lisa Gonzalez, both of Edinburg, Irene Gonzalez of Odessa; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, San Juanita Ledesma, Maria Ledesma, both of Pharr, Paula Flores of Edinburg; a brother in law, Rene Gonzalez; and three sisters in law, Emma Gonzalez, Juanita (†Roberto) Cazares, Mary Anne (†Wayne) Lemke.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 12, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
