ALAMO- Ramon Gonzalez, 66, died Saturday, February 4, 2012,at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Nuevo Leon, Mr. Gonzalez had lived in Alamo most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cristobal Gonzalez; a brother, Reynaldo Gonzalez; and a grandchild, Arnulfo Gonzalez Jr.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Dulia Gonzalez of Alamo; five children, Cristobal (Sonia) Gonzalez, Susana (Isabel Coronado Jr.) Gonzalez, Yadira (Samuel) Alaniz, Ramon (Karla Mireles) Gonzalez Jr. and Arnulfo (Jessica) Gonzalez, all of Alamo, Ruth Elizabeth (Filiberto Garcia) Gonzalez of Saltillo, Mexico, 20 grandchildren; his mother, Esperanza Gonzalez of McAllen; four brothers, and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, February 6, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
