Ruth O. Gonzalez, 95, went home to our Lord Tuesday, June 12, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Born in Redding, CA, Mrs. Gonzalez had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raul Gonzalez Sr.; and her son Raul Gonzalez Jr.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her three sons, Kayo (Rosa Maria) Gonzalez, Rick P. (Sian) Gonzalez, both of Edinburg, Gilberto (Carmen) Gonzalez of Dallas; her two daughters, Irene Schow of Austin, Irma (Joe) Garcia of Edinburg; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Jessie Ramirez of Tucson, AZ, Sarah Barcelo of Anaheim, CA; Frank Orozco of Tucson, AZ, Joe Orozco of San Antonio,TX, Dr. John Orozco of Seattle, WA; and Robert Orozco of Glendale, AZ.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, June 14, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
