EDINBURG – William G. Gracia, 21, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Orange County.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rogelio Gonzalez de La Rosa and Dolores Rodriguez Loredo.
William was born in McAllen and had lived in Edinburg all of his life. He attended Robert Vela High School where he was a part of the JROTC. William was very dedicated and worked diligently to earn the title of Major of the JROTC. He graduated from New Start School in 2013 and was currently continuing his education at South Texas Collage. William was currently employed by Disney World in Orlando, FL.
William is survived by his parents, Leticia and Juan Rodriguez of Edinburg; and three sisters, Lesslie Gracia of Corpus Christi, Yajaira Gracia of Houston and Jennifer Rodriguez of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, May 20, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg is in charge of funeral arrangements.
