CRUZ GRIMALDO, JR.
McALLEN - Cruz Grimaldo, Jr., 62, went to be with our Lord, Monday, November 8, 2010 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Grimaldo had lived there all of his life. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was employed by M & R Jewelers in McAllen.
Mr. Grimaldo is survived by his love, Olga; two sons, Efrain Omar (Rebecca) of San Juan, Oscar A. of McAllen; three grandsons, Kevin, Robert and Noah; brother, Isidro; sisters, Carmen, Herminia, Hilda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
With much gratitude the Grimaldo family would like to thank all persons involved with his care.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, November 11, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11:30 am, Friday, November 12, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
