GUADALUPE T. MARTINEZ

EDINBURG – Guadalupe T. Martinez, 78, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her residence in Edinburg.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Martinez; parents, Modesto Tamayo and Teresa Villegas; three siblings, Modesto, Abram, and Maria Antonia Tamayo.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her three daughters, Sylvia Ramos, Sandra Martinez, Gloria Martinez; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sara Alvarez, Eva Mata, Bertha Weeber, and Sheila Tamayo.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.  Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2024, at Templo Bethel in Edinburg.  Interment will follow at Mont Meta Cemetery in San Benito.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
