OLIVIA GUERRA

EDINBURG – Olivia Guerra, 73, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at her residence
in Edinburg.
Mrs. Guerra was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of her life. She
was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Oralia Guerra; her parents,
Antonio and Dionicia Martinez; a brother and three sisters.
Mrs. Guerra is survived by her husband, Lisandro Guerra; five children,
Yolanda (Fernando) Salinas, Lisandro (Delia) Guerra, Jr., Irma (Roberto
Ramirez) Espinoza, Elda (Rafael) Rivera and Armando Guerra, all of
Edinburg; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and
nephews; four brothers, Rogelio Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Santiago
Martinez and Roberto Martinez; two sisters, Angelina Cantu and Alicia
Mendoza, all of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today,
June 24, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton, in Edinburg.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.~ Interment will follow at Hillcrest
Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in
Edinburg.
