Elizabeth Gutierrez, 58, died Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg Elizabeth had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria De Jesus Gutierrez; a brother, David Gutierrez; and a nephew, David Jesus Gutierrez.
Elizabeth is survived by two children, Jacqueline Cantu, Joshua Cantu; her father, Jesus Gutierrez; two siblings, Rosemary G. Trevino, Ricardo Gutierrez; a nephew, Ricardo (Paula) Villarreal, Jr.; a niece, Jennifer (Ricardo) Cano; a great niece, Jenessy Grace; a niece, Julianna Gutierrez, nephews, Jesse and Jacob; a sister-in-law, Norma Gutierrez; and her extremely special friends, Romelia Puig, Arminda Garza and Roel De La Renta.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, September 4, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
