PHARR – Maria G. Gutierrez 78, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Maria was born in Pharr, Texas and had lived there most of her life
Maria is survived by her three children, Baudel (Jeffra) Gutierrez, Jr. of Mercedes, Patricia (Hugo) Zuniga of San Juan, David Gutierrez of Pharr; six grandchildren, Benjamin (Sarina) Gutierrez, Brandon James Gutierrez, Baudel Gutierrez III, Marissa Vianey Zuniga, Rebecca Nicole Zuniga, Carina Gabriela Zuniga; and one great-granddaughter, Audrey Elizabeth Gutierrez.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Baudel Gutierrez, Sr.; her parents, Jesus and Agapita Garza; and four siblings.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at St. Margret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral service are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
