NOE GUZMAN LARRALDE
EDINBURG – Noe Guzman Larralde, 70, died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at his residence in Edinburg.
Born in Rio Grande City, Mr. Larralde lived most of his life in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Linda Perez Larralde; his parents, Marina and Crispin Larralde; two brothers, Alfredo Garcia and Manuel Morado; and two sisters, Elizabeth Morado Cooks and Mariana Morado Arroyo. He graduated from Edinburg High School in 1965 and then he proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Soon after, Mr. Larralde met the love of his life, Norma Linda and they were married for 24 years until her passing. He worked for the Hidalgo County Tax Office for 30 years and after retirement he enjoyed monthly get togethers with his co-workers. Mr. Larralde enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren. He was extremely proud of his sons and all their accomplishments. Throughout the years he remained involved with the local 4-H Club and Edinburg North Band Booster.
Mr. Larralde is survived by two children, Michael Rene (Deena) Larralde of McAllen, Noe Ronnie (Stephanie) Larralde of Edinburg; two grandchildren, Deven Michael Larralde and Derek Michael Larralde; three siblings, Erasmo (Amparo) Trevino, Feliciano Morado, Jr., both of Rio Grande City, Maria Noemi (Joel) Leal of Edinburg; two sisters-in-law, Baudie Hernandez and Frances (Robert) Leija and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7473 of Elsa.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
