SAN JUAN - Maria De Lourdes Guzman, 47, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Weslaco, Mrs. Guzman had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of Epiphany Episcopal Church in Raymondville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Rosa Trevino; and three brothers, Octavio, Jorge and Agustin Trevino.
Mrs. Guzman is survived by her husband, Aldalberto Guzman; five children, Nicolas (Monica) DeHoyos, Kenny DeHoyos, Xavier (Sally) DeHoyos, Alyssa (Heriberto Ruiz) Guzman and Rose Guzman; four grandchildren; five brothers, Oscar Trevino, Pedro Trevino, Jose Trevino, Tomas Trevino and Eduardo Trevino; and two sisters, Oralia Martinez and Olda Canales.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, February 9, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
