RICARDO GUZMAN, JR.
EDINBURG- Ricardo Guzman, Jr., 58, went home to the Lord Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, he was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ricardo began in the music industry following his father’s footsteps when he was 8 yrs old and music was his life. He enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Guzman is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Guzman; and his parents, Ricardo B. and Evangelina Guzman.
Mr. Guzman is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maria Guzman of Edinburg; eight children, Denise (Jorge) Hernandez, Juan Ricardo (Crystal) Guzman, Miguel (Jessica) Guzman, Miguel Santiago, Nefi (Denisse) Santiago, Irarie Guzman, Andreh Guzman, Aviery Guzman; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Dahlia Guzman and Anna Vela.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral service is under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
