Pharr-Hailey Isabel Jasso, 23, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Born in McAllen, Hailey lived in Pharr and worked as a Registered ICU Nurse at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Hailey devoted her career to caring for others, touching countless lives with her kindness, empathy, and expertise. Throughout her nursing journey, she was honored with multiple DAISY Awards, a testament to the exceptional care and love she gave her patients every day. A woman of boundless energy and unwavering faith, Hailey lived a life filled with adventure, joy, and love for the outdoors. She was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding peace in nature’s beauty and the thrill of the catch. Whether on the golf course or in the gym, she approached every challenge with determination and a smile. Above all, Hailey lived her life guided by her strong Christian faith, sharing love, kindness, and grace with all she met. Her infectious laughter, generous spirit, and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ramiro Jasso.
Hailey is survived by her parents, Juan "Tony" Jasso and Vianey Farias Jasso; a sister, Gabrielle Castillo (husband Anthony Castillo); a brother, Mathew Aiden Jasso (Kayla Rodriguez); her maternal grandparents, Jose Adan Farias and Diana Garza Farias; paternal grandmother, Ninfa Aguirre Jasso; and a niece, Penelope Mae Castillo.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
