JACK A. HEADLEY
EDINBURG - Jack A. Headley, 65, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg.
Born in Brownsville, Mr. Headley lived in Edinburg all of his life. He worked as a Land Surveyor since 1974. In 1986 he formed Quintanilla Headley and Associates Inc., until his retirement in 2007. Jack played Mexican music at special events such as weddings and quinceañeras. He enjoyed his retirement spending time with family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Harriett Headley; his father, John N. Headley; a sister, Rhoda H. Headley; and a brother-in-law, Arturo Lazo.
Jack is survived by his two sisters, Mary Patricia Headley and Susan J. Headley; five nieces and nephews, Laurette Michelle Garcia-Giacomo (David Mario), Christina Amanda Garcia-Welborn (Toby Lyn), Jessica Renee Garcia, Edward D. Haworth, Eric K. Haworth; and three grandnieces, Valerie Winter Giacomo, Violet Rayne Giacomo, Thalia Inez Welborn.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
