HERMINIA GARCIA

PHARR – Herminia Garcia, 91, died Thursday, October 19, 2023, at San Gabriel Rehabilitation and Care Center in Round Rock, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Garcia; and her parents, Julian and Hermila Moya.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her five children, Alberto (Blanca) Garcia of Pflugerville, TX, Juan Jesus (Yolanda) Garcia of San Juan, Jesus (Holly) Garcia, Jr. of Austin, TX, Maria Angelita (Shade) Barrett of Austin, TX, Dora (Elia) Austin of Jarrell, TX; 11grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ciro Moya of Pharr, Guadalupe Moya of Houston, Julian Moya of Friendswood, TX, Guadalupe Moya, Jr. of Round Rock, TX; and a sister, Esperanza Montoya of Houston, TX.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, October 23, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
