SAN JUAN – Alfredo Hernandez, 81, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Hernandez is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Hernandez of San Juan; six children, Maria (Leticia) Guerra of Michigan, San Juanita (Oscar) Salinas of Dallas, Elisa Guerra of San Juan, Tomas (Oralia Martinez) Guerra of Pharr, Marisol Hernandez and Vanesa (Jose Samilpa, Jr.) Hernandez, both of San Juan; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Arturo Hernandez of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, January 6, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
