BASILISA HERNANDEZ SAN JUAN – Basilisa Hernandez, 78, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at her residence in San Juan. Mrs. Hernandez was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Librada Hernandez. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her three children, Farncisca Mireles, Juan Martin Hernandez, both of San Juan, Alfredo Hernandez, Jr., of Nashville, Tennessee; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Juan Hernandez, Francisca Hernandez, Dolores Alvarado, Maria Hernandez, all of San Juan, Lucia Soto, of Mercedes, Aurora Gomez of Kokomo, Indiana, and Jose Hernandez of Edinburg. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 27, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
