EDINBURG - Clemente Hernandez, 86, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Life Care Hospital North in McAllen.
Mr. Hernandez was born in Edinburg where he lived his entire life. He worked for Crow Iron and Supplies for 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eusebia (Vela) Hernandez; parents, Luis and Delfina (Quintana) Hernandez; son, Abel Hernandez; grandsons, Daniel Hernandez Jr., Alex James Hernandez; brothers, Juan Hernandez, and Lupe Hernandez.
Mr. Hernandez is survived by his two daughters, Margarita Hernandez of Edinburg, TX, Angie (Ramon) Santoyo of Strathmore, CA; three sons, Daniel (Vicky) Hernandez of Lindsay, CA, Adam Hernandez of Porterville, CA, Fidel (Irene) Hernandez of Lindsay, CA; two sisters, Joaquina Molina of Los Fresnos, TX, Benita Davilla of Hargill, TX; brother, Vincente Hernandez of Dallas, TX; 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Special Thanks to Letty Resendez for all of her hard work and dedication in caring for our father through his illness. Words cannot express our gratitude.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM with a rosary at 7PM today, June 29, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
