Luciano "Chano" Hernandez

Jose Luciano Hernandez, 89, went home to our Lord Monday, July 31, 2017, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Luciano was born in Mexico, and lived in Edinburg all of his life.
He is preceded in death by three sons, Felix Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Omar Hernandez; a grandson, Rocky Rodriguez; his parents, Juan Antonio Hernandez and Manuela Corpus.
Luciano is survived by nine children, Carmen (Porfirio) Cabello, Gregorio (Mary Grace) Hernandez, Luciano (Elizabeth) Hernandez Jr., Mario Javier Hernandez, Hector (Esmeralda) Hernandez, Rolando Rafael (Janie) Hernandez, Blanca Alicia (Rene) Rodriguez, Marta (Benny) Escobedo, and Santa (Israel) Ramirez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 3, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
