MARIA DEL CARMEN HERNANDEZ
EDINBURG - Maria Del Carmen Hernandez, 79, passed on Friday, April 22, 2011, at Grand Terrace Rehabilitation Center in McAllen.
Ms. Hernandez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Manuela Hernandez.
Ms. Hernandez is survived by three children, Manuela (Concepcion) Hernandez, Jose Luis (Corita) Hernandez, Belinda Ybarra, all of Edinburg; a sister, Guadalupe Valdez; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service Monday, April 25, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
