ROSALVA “CHA-CHA” V. HERNANDEZ EDINBURG –Rosalva “Cha-Cha” V. Hernandez, 76 died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at her residence in Edinburg. Born in Runge, TX Rosalva lived in Edinburg all of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Rebecca Villarreal; and two brothers, Reynaldo Villarreal and Ricardo Villarreal. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband, Gilberto Hernandez of Edinburg; three children Gilbert Hernandez, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Baldemar (Gina) Hernandez, Letty Hernandez Saenz, both of Edinburg; five grandchildren, Vanessa N. Hernandez, Taylor R. Saenz, G. Zachary Saenz, Marla R. Hernandez, Isaac Hernandez, a great-grandson, Draven X. Garcia; three brothers, and six sisters. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today July 2, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday July 3, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
