Norma Luna Herrera
Alamo – Norma Herrera, 65, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 27, 2012, at her home in Alamo, TX.
Norma was born on July 5, 1946 in McAllen, TX. She grew up in San Juan and lived most of her life in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by her father Hector Luna.
Norma is survived by her husband Ignacio Herrera; daughter Yvette (Isidoro) Galindo; Ruben Adalberto Herrera all of Alamo; mother Santiaga Sanchez Luna; two sisters Lucy Herrera and Linda (Rocky) Flores; one brother Alberto (Nora) Luna all of San Juan; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Galindo, Rachelle Galindo, and Hiram Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews.
Norma was a dedicated teacher at PSJA ISD, a devoted wife, a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. She was a beautiful and generous person. We will remember her always through the many wonderful memories she has given us.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today, April 29, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
