REYNALDO “TINY” HERRERA
EDINBURG – Reynaldo “Tiny” Herrera, 55, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in Edinburg.
Mr. Herrera was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of his life. Although he was a simple man, he always had a caring heart and always on call.
Mr. Herrera is survived by his wife, Dora Lissa Herrera of Edinburg; seven children, Veronica (Ivan) Rodriguez of Dallas, Rey Herrera, Michael Herrera, Jessica (Jose Javier) Rodriguez, Efren (Laurah) Herrera, Eric (Isabel) Herrera and Vanessa Herrera all of Edinburg; several adopted daughters and sons that came with the package. We all knew him as just “Dad”. 16 grandchildren; his parents, Gumaro and Celia Herrera of Edinburg; two brothers, George Herrera and Gumaro Herrera Jr. both of Edinburg; four sisters, Carmen Magallan of Edinburg, Christina Herrera of San Francisco, California, Minerva Alvarado and Diana Herrera Ortiz both of Houston.
A talk was held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Pallbearers will be Eric Herrera, Efren Herrera, Rey Herrera, Mike Herrera, Gumaro Herrera, Jr. and George Herrera.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
