IRMA N. HINOJOSA
EDINBURG – Irma N. Hinojosa, 70, went home to our Lord on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Beatriz Cantu; and a sister, Cynthia Cantu Gonzalez.
Irma is survived by her loving husband, Edelmiro Hinojosa of Edinburg; her son, Mark (Rosa Anna) Montemayor of Edinburg; four stepchildren, Ed (Lisa) Hinojosa, Jr., Cindy (Julian) Puga, both of San Antonio, Robert (Donna) Hinojosa of Sugarland, Dan Hinojosa of Edinburg; nine grandchildren, Mateo Montemayor, Elan Montemayor, Jonathon Hinojosa, Rachel Hinojosa, John Puga, Amanda Hinojosa, Lucas Hinojosa, Laura Hinojosa, and Adrian Hinojosa; five siblings, Adolfo (Rosalinda) Cantu, David (Beatrice) Cantu, Diana (Audrey) Cantu, Thelma Villarreal, Henry (Yolanda) Cantu, all of Edinburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
