Juan A. Hinojosa

PHARR – Juan A. Hinojosa, 82, entered eternal rest Friday, September 29, 2017, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
Born in Las Anacuas, TX, Mr. Hinojosa had lived in Pharr most of his life and was formerly of San Pedro, TX. He was a hardworking man and led by example for his children. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. May he rest in peace.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mariano and Juanita Hinojosa; and a brother, Ruben Hinojosa.
Mr. Hinojosa is survived by his loving wife, Flora M. Hinojosa of Pharr; four children, Janie (Jesse) Luna of Mercedes, Armando Hinojosa of Pharr, Julie (Ruben) Martinez of Alamo, Javier (Linda) Hinojosa of San Juan; a grandson who he raised, Jay Hinojosa of Pharr; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mariano Hinojosa of San Juan and Francisco Hinojosa of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
