NICOLAI "NICK" HORBOVETZ
ALAMO- Nicolai "Nick" Horbovetz, 82, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2010.
Born in Gary, Indiana and formerly of Alamo, he had lived in Plano, Texas. Having served in the United Sates Navy, Mr. Horbovetz was a WW II veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife, Magarita Horbovetz; his parents, Carl and Rose Horbovetz; a brother, John Horbovetz; two sisters, Helen Wilcymski and Mary Horbovetz.
Mr. Horbovetz is survived by his two children, Michael Horbovetz and Mark (Jackie) Horbovetz both of Plano, Texas; five grandchildren, Jared Horbovetz, Joshua Horbovetz, Heather Garza, Nikolai Horbovetz and Alicia Horbovetz.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, April 5, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Alamo with full military honors.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
