ISABEL M. HUERTA EDINBURG — Isabel M. Huerta, 72 died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Pharr, Mrs. Huerta had lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymundo Huerta; two children, Eduardo & Lynn Huerta; a daughter-in-law, Esther Meza Quintero Huerta; siblings, Vidal Martinez, Juan Martinez, Severo Martinez, Rosalie Bustos and Bernabe Martinez. Mrs. Huerta is survived by six children, Lydia "Lilly" Huerta, Roy Huerta, David (Elizabeth) Huerta, all of Edinburg; Daniel (Annabelle) Huerta, Ricardo (Yadhira) Huerta, both of San Juan, Emilio Huerta, of Mission; nine grandchildren, Bridgette, Olivia, Isaac, Victoria, David A., Angela, Ricky, Diego, Ray A.; and seven siblings, Magdalena Garcia, Dolores Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Carmen Martinez, Ignacio Martinez, Domingo Martinez, and Albert Martinez, all of San Antonio. Visitation will be held 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 4, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
