ALAMO – Adolfo Ibarra, 58, died Friday, January 6, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Mexico, he had lived in Alamo for 14 years and was previously of Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his father, Emilio Ibarra; and two sisters, Cristina Ibarra and Olga Ibarra.
Adolfo is survived by his wife, Maria J. Ibarra; seven children, Cristina Ibarra, Renee (Bryan) Flores, Adolfo (Joni) Ibarra Jr., Ryan (Jeanette) Coronado, Edwin Ibarra, Juliana Ibarra, Olga Ibarra; six grandchildren; his mother, Olga Ibarra; and five siblings, Sylvia (Ricardo) Ibarra, Paula (Pete) Ybanez, Emilio (Jacinta) Ibarra, Juan Jose (Eloisa) Ibarra and Marco Antonio Ibarra.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
