MARIA GUADALUPE IBARRA
ALAMO – Maria Guadalupe Ibarra, 59, died Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had lived in Alamo most of her life.
Ms. Ibarra is survived by six children, Belinda (Victor) Ochoa, of San Juan, Veronica (Sergio Rivera) Martinez, Eduardo Martinez, Erika (Felipe) Rivera, Juan Martinez, Jessica Vanessa Martinez, all of Alamo; 12 grandchildren; her parents, Marciano and Paula Ibarra, of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico; a sister, Irma Ibarra; and two brothers, Rolando Ibarra and Agustin Ibarra.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, September 1, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
