Inez Rosas

Inez Rosas, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at her residence in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Rosas, Sr.; a son, Rene Rosas; three siblings, Homer Guerra, Baldemar Guerra, and Delia Hilda Guerra. Mrs. Rosas is survived by her five children, Raymundo V. (Diana) Rosas, Melida (+Vicente) Alvarado, both of San Juan, Maribel (Concepcion) Gomez, Melba (+Ricardo) Gonzalez, both of Edinburg, Antonio (Celena) Rosas, Jr., of San Juan; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Candelario Guerra, Jr., and Rene Guerra, both of San Juan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Friday, December 15, 2023, at Grace Community Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
