IRMA E. HERNANDEZ

MERCEDES- Irma E. Hernandez, 76, died Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Mid-Valley Nursing and Rehab in Mercedes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Francisca Hernandez, and siblings; Eliazar “Papo” Hernandez, Mario Hernandez, Ernestina Ramirez and Jose Alberto Hernandez.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her sons; Isaac J. Ramirez and Israel (Nora) Hernandez; three grandchildren, and siblings; Juan (Esmeralda) Hernandez, Jose Ismael (Silvia) Hernandez, Evangelina (Frank +) Carmona and Emma (Ovidio) De La Fuente.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2025, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Mercedes. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
