ISIDORO CERVANTES

PHARR– Isidoro Cervantes, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at his residence in Pharr.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Cervantes; and a daughter Ana Elizabeth Ceja.

Isidoro is survived by his ten children, Ismael (Angelica) Cervantes, Maria Magdalena (Pablo) Campos, Ruben (Idalia Edith) Cervantes, Misael (Elizabeth) Cervantes, all of Pharr, Isidoro (Cristy) Cervantes of Edinburg, Maria Guadalupe (Gerardo) Castaneda of Gainesville, Georgia, Olga Lydia (Manuel De Jesus) Flores of Port Arthur, Texas, Miguel Cervantes of Reynosa, Mexico, Juan Gabriel (Maria Del Rosario) Cervantes of South Bend, Indiana, Moises (Ruth) Cervantes of San Juan; 30 Grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; a brother, Silvano Cervantes of Reynosa, Mexico; and two sisters, Maria Cervantes of Reynosa, Mexico and San Juana Chavez of Sioux City, Nebraska.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
