RACHEL JENE ARRIAGA
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Rachel Jene Arriaga, 55, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, January 28, 2017.
She was born in Corpus Christi, TX and had lived in Colorado Springs for 12 years. A truly loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She touched so many hearts with her love and kindness. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. “Mom we love you so much and although a part of us will be missing you, that part will soon be filled when we are joined together again.”
She is preceded in death by two sisters, Leticia Arriaga, Yolanda Snell; and her parents, Antonio and Rosa Espinoza Arriaga.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Bernard Lawreance Jene II of Colorado Springs; five children, Tiffany Andis of South Carolina, Joshua (Casey) Carr of Dallas, David (Celina) Carr of Edinburg, Devan Adara Jene of Colorado Springs and Bernard Lawrence Jene III of Fort Hood, TX; 10 grandchildren, Weston and Mason Carr, Joannah Andis, Izaiha, Anthony, Elijah, Josh, Caleb, Natalee and Hailey Carr; three sisters, Judy (Oliver) Wolfe of McAllen, Rosa (Paul) Dyne, Amelia (Pete) Mayorga, both of Houston; and three brothers, Frank (Olivia) Arriaga, Jaime (Thelma) Arriaga, both of Corpus Christi, and Tony (Blanca) Arriaga of McAllen.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, February 3, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
